World
of Wheels Boston January 3-5, 2003 "Best of Class"
& "Street Achievement" Awards
I built and drove
this Award winning "Mystery Machine" replica van daily. So,
chances are if you're from Massachusetts / NH you've probably
seen me cruising around in it. Tha van runs a stock LS-9 350
4bbl., B&M T-350, P/S, P/B, A/C, FlowMasters, Body Shortened
51" C-Notched 6", 18" Wheel Tubs, Full Custom Fleece Interior,
with Oak Trim. Custom Urethane Paint Job.
These
are the awards my van won at the 2003 World of Wheels Car Show
in Boston in January, 2003
I was
off looking at cars & bikes when the awards ceremony was being
held but the judges caught up with me later on and presented the
awards to me. Check out the Championship
Auto Shows website
My
spot at the car show was right around the corner from the West
Coast Choppers booth.
J.J.
got the t-shirt sales but my van drew a crowd like you wouldn't
believe !
This
Van is on the Discovery Channels "Monster Garage" website
CHECK

I am with my van ( August, 2003 ) * Note coffee in hand !
HAZELNUT MMM
I
guess it's pretty clear that I love this van and hated to sell
it but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes...
The
full custom fleece interior trimmed with oak in my van is special
to me because my mother and I made it.
(
although I drove her crazy while we were working on it, it was
fun. )
*
Notice the channeled floor & wheel tubs !!!
*
Special thanks to my cousin Brian for doing the carpet &
binding
Here's
the van next to the WAAF
van. WAAF 107.3FM ROCKS !
This
picture DEFINITELY gives you an idea of how much I shortened
the van ! YUP, that's a 51" hole in the middle of the body
! I was driving it around the parking lot like this with NO
BRAKES. IT WAS AWESOME !
FROM
A $100 WORK van TO A WORLD OF WHEELS SHOW WINNER ($20,000 LATER)
This
was the day I decided to change it from a window van to a panel
van.
Here's
a fun picture I made, The Mystery Machine II is in the works ! Hmmm,
will it look like THIS !
